Ruth Myra Durst, 91, Dunnegan, MO entered the Kingdom of Heaven following a brief illness at 6:25 AM Friday, October 03, 2008 in Northwood Hills Care Center, Humansville, MO. She was born December 4, 1916 at Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Thompson) Vetter. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a faithful prayer warrior, friend and member of Dunnegan Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Durst June 16, 1995; her parents, Charles and Florence Vetter; three sisters, Helen Way, Edna Gessell and Nellie Lohse. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gerald and JoAnn Durst, Dunnegan, MO, Joanne and Ronald Roland, Odessa, MO and Judy and James Hollenbeck, Bolivar, MO; 8 grandchildren, Lisa Roland Porter and husband, Allen, Estherville, IA, Shelly Roland Conn and husband, James, Mayville, MO, James S. Hollenbeck and wife, Myra, Olathe, KS, John Hollenbeck and wife, Debbie, Fair Play, MO, Joy Hollenbeck McClurg, Cisne, IL, Jason Hollenbeck and wife, Aimee, Bolivar, MO, Suzanne Durst Nash and husband, Mark, Humansville, MO and Robert Durst and wife, Marsha, Fair Play; 18 great-grandchildren, Evan Porter, Kristin Porter, Holly Hollenbeck, Abby Hollenbeck, Daniel Durst, Ryan Durst, Cilby Durst, Amanda Orrell, Rachael Orrell, Jordan Nash, Alyissa Nash, Sarah Hollenbeck, Zandria McClurg, Chantra McClurg, Brandon Hollenbeck, Allison Hollenbeck, Nicole Conn and Nicholas Conn; 1 great-greatgrandaughter, Elyanna Grace Witbracht; 1 brother, Edward Vetter, Hot Springs, AR; 1 sister, Elsie Liebbe, Fenville, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Dunnegan Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Faulkner officiating. Music will be by Peggy Gilmore, Liedra Stunkel, Ron George, Jr., Trevor Coble and Marcia Miller, organist. Interment will be in Plum Grove Cemetery under the direction of Murray Funeral Home, Humansville. Donations in Ruth s memory may be made to St. Jude s Children s Hospital. PDF Printable Version
