Jacob Brown

Jacob Brown was granted his angel wings on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Jacob’s life would seem too short to many, but for those who were touched by him, understand that his quality of life far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him, and his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Jacob was born on November 21, 1995, in Temple, Texas. He later moved with his mother and father to Humansville. He grew up and attended school at Humansville, graduating in 2014. He excelled at sports there, playing baseball, basketball, and running track and cross country. He was a gifted runner, and won many awards, but he was also a student athlete. His education was very important to him, and he loved his school, and the friends he made there. He was always very happy and outgoing, and was named a Good Citizen of the school almost year. When he was not in class he would be outside. He loved to fish and hunt, as well as swim. If he was not doing that, he was probably out for a joy run. He loved to be on the move, and Jacob lived his life to the fullest, and genuinely loved all he did. Jacob was also a very caring uncle, and would spend a lot of time just playing with, and being around his nieces and nephews. With Jacob’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will always remain forever in our hearts. Through his life, we are able to create wonderful memories. Jacob leaves behind many wonderful people that loved him, and supported him. Among survivors are his loving parents, Sharon and Eddie Brown; one sister, Brandi Rader; two brothers, Jamie Brown, and James Brown; fiancé, Memphis Coble; three nieces; two nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of special friends including teammates, coaches, and everyone that he worked with, and went to school with. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, on Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Humansville United Methodist Church, in Humansville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at the Humansville United Methodist Church, in Humansville, with burial to follow at the Humansville Cemetery.
