OBITUARY ILA LORENE HUMAN OBITUARY ILA LORENE HUMAN Ila Lorene Wells Human, age 90, of Magnolia Square, Springfield, MO, formerly of Bolivar, MO was born, December 24, 1916 in Schofield, MO. and lived most of her life in Polk County, MO. Her parents were Richard Andrew Wells and Harriet Levina "Vina" Faulkner. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on, February 6, 2007, after complications of a stroke. She attended Pleasant Hope High School. She was united in marriage on May, 18, 1935, to James Charles Human by Rev. Fletch Davis in his home. To this union, two daughters were born, Joyce Kay (Human) Hinkle, Springfield, MO, and Sharon Mae Human, (Gilden), Willard, MO. Throughout her adult life, she was a homemaker. She will be remembered for her quick wit and humor. As a young mother, she was an excellent seamstress and was able to do alterations on hand-me-down clothing to fit her daughters. Lorene was a member of the Slagle Missionary Baptist Church and attended services for as long as her health permitted. One of eight children, Lorene was preceded in death by five sisters, Nelle Graham, Bess Drumright, Golden Barnett, Veta Steinshouer, and Betty Neuhart; two brothers, Virgil Wells and Kenneth (Grub) Wells. Her husband; James Charles Human, two Son-In-Laws; Donald Gene Hinkle and Billy Lee Foster. Survivors include her two daughters, and five grandsons, Wesley Dwayne Gilden and wife Debra, Willard, MO; Mark Alan Hinkle, Rolla, MO; Joe "David" Hinkle and wife Paula, Pleasant Hope, MO; Charles Wayne Gilden and wife Tulena, State of Alaska; and Dennis Andrew Hinkle, Humansville, MO. Also 10 great grandchildren, Joseph Ryan Gilden, Joplin, MO; Jennifer Michelle Gilden, Willard, MO; Paul Daniel Hinkle and wife Cara, Fort Myers, VA; Diana Olivia Hinkle, Rolla, MO; Bradley Donald Hinkle, Pleasant Hope, MO; Bailey Nicole Hinkle, Pleasant Hope, MO; Amelia Heather Rose Gilden, Alaska; Jared Ethan Gilden, Alaska; Christopher Andrew Hinkle, St. Louis, MO; and Matthew Dylan Ray Hinkle, Humansville, MO. One great great granddaughter, Jasmine Shaker, Fort Myers, VA. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many wonderful friends, and her extended church family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Skinner officiating. with Bro. Harlan Graham assisting. Music will be by Joy Sumner and Rhonda Harriman with Linda Crawford as the pianist. Musical selections will be "Where The Roses Never Fade", "Going Down The Valley", and "Does Jesus Care". Burial will be in the Slagle Cemetery south of Bolivar under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Casketbearers will be, Ray Anthony Graves, Jimmy Midles, Mike Midles, Chris Turpin, Heath Berry, and Joshua Berry. Visitation will be held from 6-7 PM on Friday evening at the Butler Chapel.
