Amy Jo Wilkinson

Amy Jo Wilkinson, 51, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at her home near Bolivar, Missouri. Amy was born on July 16, 1974, in Humansville, Missouri. On September 3, 1993, Amy married the love of her life, Roy Wilkinson, and together they built a home filled with love and laughter. Amy was saved and baptized in 2008 at Mt. Etna Southern Missionary Baptist Church. We cherish the knowledge that she is in Heaven, and we will see her again. Amy was an amazing mom to Shane, Jimmy & Katie. She loved unconditionally with all her heart and was a fierce protector, friend, and cheerleader for each of her children. As the years passed, she welcomed with open arms her two daughters-in-law; Aubrey and Kristian, and her son-in-law, Travis. The biggest reward was that she became the amazing Gigi to Addie, Henry, Maverick, Cora, and was anxiously waiting for sweet Kennedi to be born in September. Amy had the most giving heart. She was always there for not only her children and grandchildren, but was a second Mom to every one of the kids' friends throughout the years. If someone needed an ear to listen, a place to stay, or some good advice on life & a hug… Amy was there for them all. Amy enjoyed boating, camping, riding horses, and vacationing with her family at the ocean. Her love for animals brought so much joy into their home over the years. She would not let any animal suffer, and always brought them home to love and nurture. Being with her family, friends & loved ones was her happy place. In the last few years, Amy enjoyed selling insurance with David & Lisa, whom she truly enjoyed working with. Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents; Joe & Mary Foster; Father, Joe Clark; Father-in-Law, Harry Wilkinson; Uncle John Stutenkemper; Uncle Tony Stutenkemper; Uncle Buddy Stutenkemper & Uncle Bill & Aunt Jolene Flint. Amy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Roy Wilkinson; Children: Shane & Kristian Wilkinson, Jimmy & Aubrey Wilkinson, and Travis & Katie Buckner. Her grandchildren: Addie Wilkinson, Henry Wilkinson, Maverick Wilkinson, Cora Wilkinson, and soon-to-be Kennedi Buckner. Her parents, Ron & Carolyn Page. Uncle David & Aunt Denise Stutenkemper, Uncle Elvin & Aunt Karen Foster. She is also survived by her cousins that she grew up with like siblings: Terrie Lynn Reed; Devon Stutenkemper, Cody Stutenkemper & DaKotah Stutenkemper. Services to honor the extraordinary life of Amy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Visitation will take place an hour before services, starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Polk, Missouri.
