Addison Paige Martino

Addison Paige Martino, born on March 12, 2002, in Bolivar, MO, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 31st, 2025. Addison is survived by her honored parents, James and Amberly; her brothers, Evan and Isaac, whom she was an exceptional sister to; her boyfriend, Drew Damery, and their dog, Maggie Mae. She was the adored granddaughter of Dianne and Lewis Lakin and Ruth Manning. She leaves behind an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her deeply and will forever feel her absence. Addison graduated from Columbia College in 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and continued on to graduate with her Master of Accountancy at Mizzou University in 2024. She proudly worked as a Loan Accountant at Veterans United. Addison was loved by all who had the gift of knowing her. Her quick wit, fierce independence, and undeniable brilliance made her a radiant light in every life she touched. She had a way of brightening the world — not always the loudest in the room, but somehow the most irreplaceable. Her absence is felt in every laugh that echoes without her, every game played in her honor, and every heart that carries her memory forward. At home, Addison found joy in the simple, beautiful rhythms of everyday life with Drew and Maggie. You could often find the three of them in the same room huddled together — reading, playing video games, or just being near each other — building not only memories but the foundation of a full, loving life. A lifelong lover of sports and games, Addison’s competitive spirit and playful heart defined her. Growing up as a tenacious softball and tennis player carried on into adulthood as a dedicated college and professional football, baseball, and basketball fan. She also loved to be an active part of a wide variety of games, such as pickleball, co-ed softball, sand volleyball, ping-pong, golf, and board games; she was the kind of teammate everyone wished for: dedicated, spirited, and always ready to have a blast (unless, of course, you missed a play — then you’d definitely hear about it). As a first-generation college student, Addison bravely took on a new town all on her own. Her kindness, humor, and loyalty formed lasting friendships and left deep roots through every stage of her life, whether in Bolivar or Columbia. She was driven and determined, on her launching pad of life with a world of potential stretched before her. Though her time here feels far too short, Addison’s impact is immeasurable. Her laughter will echo in the hearts of those who loved her, her light will continue to shine in every story told, and her memory will forever be a reminder of how beautifully she lived — with courage, warmth, and love. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home on Friday after the visitation. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
