Reva Quick

March 13, 1938 - January 25, 2021

On Monday, January 25, 2021 Reva Elaine (Presley) Quick, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 82. Reva was born at home to E.B. and Leona Presley on March 13, 1938 in Brighton, Mo. She graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Morrisville, Missouri. Reva was untied in Marriage to Frances Henry Myers April, 1959. From this union four children were born. Reva married her soulmate, Lonnie Eugene Quick on April 11, 1981. Reva is survived by her husband, Lonnie Eugene Quick, four children, Dwight and wife Angela Myers of Morrisville, Mo., Dwayne and wife Celecia Myers of Morrisville, Mo., Daryl and Carol Myers a of Morrisville, Mo.; Robin and husband Paul Sikes of Bolivar, Mo., two step-children, Harvey Quick of Strafford, Mo. and Angela Carr of Navarre, Fl.; a sister, Bernice and husband Jim Hawk of Walnut Grove, Mo.; seven grandchildren: Dean (Pegge) Cheek, April (Josh) Pruitt, Ashlyn Carson, Jake (Stephanie) Myers, Josh (Katie) Myers, Curtis (Kelley) Sikes and Tyler (Jamee) Sikes; 16 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, E.B. and Leona Presley. Reva was saved at young age and she remained a faithful member of Harold Baptist Church in Walnut Grove Missouri until she was no longer able to attend due to illness. Reva, also known as Mom and Grandma was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was caring, loving and kind. She loved being with family, whether it be her immediate family or her church family. She loved going to church, fishing and playing cards. She loved with all her heart and always tried to make everyone happy. She would give whatever she had, even if she did not have it to give. She loved her grandchildren. When the grandchildren were young, she took them to church almost every Sunday and she helped guide them to Jesus. She would always get tickled watching the little ones play, she loved to spend time with them. Visitation will be at Butler Funeral Home on January 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Friday January 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Willard, Mo., Pastor Kenny Killingsworth officiating with interment following in Rose Hill Cemetery.
