Margaret Ellen Lingerfelt

February 16, 1940 - March 5, 2022

Margaret Ellen Warson Lingerfelt was born in Oddessa, Missouri to Anna Myrtle Couch and Tye Ottis Bacil. She passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Big Springs Health Care Facility in Humansville, Missouri at the age of 82. Tye had two sisters, Laverria Samer and Rose Anna Seabaugh; and a brother John C. Bacil. Margaret grew up in Oddessa, MO then moved to Kansas City with her family where she attended school and graduated from Center High School. In 1960, she married Carl Thomas Warson and they had three children, Tamela Martinez of Houston, TX, William Warson of Houston, TX, and Bacil Warson of Humansville, MO. They lived in Kansas City, MO for a short time before moving to Strasburg, MO, Pleasant Hill, MO, and then to Lee’s Summit, MO where they lived for many years. She was a member of the Stasburg Baptist Chuch and DAR. She retired from Western Electric/ATT while living in Lee’s Summit. She then moved to Humansville, MO where her husband was involved in the community and was an alderman. He passed away on Feb. 3, 1999. Margaret later married Rex Lingerfelt in 2002. Margaret was a loving mother and touched the lives of many people. We will miss her dearly. Services for Margaret will be under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Humansville.
