James Gardner

September 3, 1945 - September 6, 2020

James Milton Gardner, 75, of Humansville passed away on Sunday morning, September 6, 2020 at his home. James was born on September 3, 1945 in Durango, CO, to Milton W. and Frances M. (Mothershead) Gardner. He married Barbara L. Klarner on June 21, 1985 in Overland Park, KS. James was a veteran of the United States Army, serving two and half years and attaining the rank of Captain as a Division Engineer where he earned a Bronze Star for his heroic bravery and service to this nation. James also attended the prestigious Colorado School of Mines. James is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jolene Brenneman. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; three children, Toby Gardner and his wife Yvonne, Jeremy Klarner and his wife Jus, and Erin Noon and her husband Kurt; four grandchildren, Erik and Ashlyn Noon and Ajay and Jiya Klarner. Arrangements for James are under the care of Butler Funeral Home of Humansville. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humansville First United Methodist Church.
