Timothy Wayne Noyes

Timothy Wayne Noyes, age 43, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning, November 9, 2011 at his home in Springfield. Tim, as everyone knew him, was born on April 13, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Don Wayne Noyes and Evelyn Sue (Bruce) Camp. Tim was a comic book artist and collector. He started collecting comic books when he was 5 years old and sketching the characters. The collection grew to several thousand..each comic stored in a special box and protective cover. He was very proud of his collection. Tim was active in the comic book convention in San Diego each year displaying his collection of comics and movie memoralbilia. He played little league baseball and was in boy scouts for several years. Tim became a Christian at a young age attending Norwalk First Baptist in Norwalk, CA. He graduated from Cal High School and attended Pomona College. He was a true blue LA Dodgers and LA Lakers fan. Tim worked at Black Hole Comics in Fullerton, CA, then later for Wal-Mart and Lowes in Pomona, CA before moving to Missouri in October 2009. He is survived by his mother; Evelyn & Roy Camp of Springfield, Missouri, his father; Don & Shirley Noyes of Highlandville, Missouri, two sisters; Pamela King and husband Jerry of Whittier, California, Robin Packwood and husband Jonathan of Bois darc, Missouri, three aunts; Mary Bruce of Fordland, Missouri, Alice Bussey of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Sharon Dominey of Highlandville, Missouri, three uncles; Ken Bruce of Bolivar, Missouri, Gene Bruce of Bolivar, Missouri, George Bruce and wife Marie of Urbana, Missouri, nephews; Joshua & Ryan King of Whittier, CA; Nicholas White of Springfield, Missouri, three nieces; Lydia Bennett of Springfield, Missouri, Abby White of Springfield, Missouri, and Anna White of Bois darc, Missouri, and several cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home - Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00pm, one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
