OBITUARY RAY DALE MCCARTY Ray D. McCarty, age 78 of Bolivar, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO Ray was born November 11, 1927 on the family farm north of Bolivar the son of Chalmer Dale McCarty and Addie Bess Moore McCarty. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a U.S Navy veteran of World War II. Ray had retired from farming and was living on the family farm where he was born. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers-in-law, Charles, Gerald and Jack Harville, and one sister-in-law Jesse Copeland. Surviving is his wife Jerry of the home, one son, Morgan McCarty and his wife Julie and one granddaughter, Addie Elizabeth McCarty all of Bolivar. Other survivors include sisters-in-law Mildred Johnson of Buffalo, MO; Frankie Bell Simmons of Carthage, MO; Jo Seiner and her husband Leroy of Humansville, MO; Jean Burriss of Bolivar; Bonnie Tindle and her husband Tommy of Fair play, and a brother-in-law Guy Harville and his wife Barbara of Springfield, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive cemetery northeast of Bolivar with Ron Maupin as the Bagpiper. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Flemington AMVETS Post # 114. Casketbearers will be Keith Combs, Eddie Crain, Jake Jacobson, Danny Noteware, Johnny Hampton, Shane Hampton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
