Pearl West

Pearl West went home suddenly to be with her Lord Sunday morning, May 31, 2009 at 1:00am. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed being with her family and attending church. She was a long time member of the Berean Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born February 18, 1923 to Charlie and Annie (Payne) Hale in Polk, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Everett West on November 8, 1941. To this union were born four children, Anna Marie, Evan, Darlene and Christine. She was a retired employee of Teters Floral Products Company in Bolivar, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a son, Evan West, two daughters, Darlene Wooten, Christine Brich, her parents, two sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by her husband, Everett of the home, a daughter, Anna Marie West of Costa Rica, two sisters, Ann Stewart of Coulterville, California, Dottie Cox of Bolivar, Missouri, a son-in-law, Garland Brich of Bolivar, Missouri, two sister-in-laws, Eugenia Hale of Bolivar, Missouri, Wanda Hale of Redlands, California, five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She will be missed by her family and friends but she is rejoicing in heaven with those who have gone before her. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15 Funeral services will at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Rev. Ron Tennison officiating. James Peacock will have a testimony along with Jeremy Davis reading the obituary. Musical selections will be When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder, Old Rugged Cross and Rock Of Ages by Billy Yeargain with Rose Roweton playing the piano. Amazing Grace will be played as a violin solo by Mary Ruth Pursselley. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Davis, James Peacock, Carl Wooten, Scott Pursselley, Randy Garms, and Bob Julien. William R. Yeargain will be an Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Wednesday evening, June 3, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar.
