LOWELL CLAYTON INMAN Lowell Clayton Inman, age 86, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007 at his home after a long illness. He was born June 11, 1921 in Randolph, Iowa the son of Sharon C. Inman and Gladys M. Baker Inman. He graduated from Willard High School and attended Southwest Teachers College in Springfield, Missouri before entering Missouri University where he majored in Agriculture and minored in Music. He was a Navy Veteran, with an honorable discharge in 1945. He married Frances Imogene Davidson Inman on February 14, 1961. He was a retired farmer, receiving Balanced Farming Award in Greene County, Missouri. Lowell served as active music director in several churches over the years. He loved music and was a talented pianist and soloist. He was a member and past church Elder at the First Christian Church in Bolivar, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Kapke Inman who was killed in an auto accident December 10, 1959, his parents, Sharon C. Inman and Gladys M. Inman Farmer, step-father, Clifford Farmer, sister, Dorothy Daniece Brower, and a grandson, Shaun Inman. Lowell is survived by his wife, Frances (Jean) Inman of the home, daughter, Nancy Timmons and husband Jack of Holden, MO., twin sons, Franklin Inman and wife Lois of Nixa, MO., Frederick Inman and wife Sandy of Springfield, MO. Two Step-sons, John F. Davidson of Nixa, MO., Reginald H. Davidson and fiancee Tammy Ricketts of Springfield, MO. Step-brother, Frank Farmer and wife Helen of Willard, MO., a sister-in-law, Mary Owen of Bolivar, MO. Daughter-in-law, Camille Kelly and husband Danny of Cabot, Arkansas. 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. Graveside Memorial Services will be 10:30am, Friday, September 28, 2007 at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Book and Reverend Curtis Swearngin officiating under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home. Musical selections will be "It Is Well With My Soul", "Wonder Of It All" and "Mary Did You Know". Full Military Honors will be provided by AMVETS Post #114 of Flemington, Missouri.
