Linda Jane Neitzel

OBITUARY LINDA JANE BEASLEY NEITZEL Linda Jane Beasley was born July 14, 1933 in Hoxie, Arkansas the daughter of Jessie Clementine Butler Beasley and Charles William Beasley. She passed away at 4:30 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Bolivar. The family moved to Rockford, IL when Linda was 15. She worked in the family's restaurant in Rockford and as a candy striper at Rockford Memorial, where she became acquainted with Walter E. Neitzel. They were wed on July 21, 1956 at the home of her parents in Rockford. Linda became a wife, homemaker, dairy farmer, and medical care provider. In the last 11 years, she has resided in West Plains, MO with her husband and family. Linda enjoyed many hobbies such as reading, crossword puzzles, drawing, and playing guitar. She liked to garden and plant roses. Her favorite saying to us was, "Go look it up". She was also mother to four children, sons, Wesley Neitzel, and wife Sue, and Tracy Neitzel and wife Tina, of West Plains, MO; daughters, Kaye Neitzel Stone and husband Michael of Bolivar, and Jessica Neitzel of Mt. Home, AR. Linda is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jarod, Amanda and Evan Stone of Bolivar; Steven and Jacob Neitzel and Heath and Heather Neitzel of West Plains, MO; Michael Kewson and Wife Erin, Tyler Luck and Robbie Luck and wife Melissa. Linda also enjoyed four great grandchildren all of West Plains, MO. Her three brothers, Charles Merrell Beasley and wife Karen of Rockford, IL; Bill Beasley and wife Edna of Columbia, MO; Joe T. Beasley and wife Elaine of Millington, TN; her two sisters, Dorothy Jones of Dallas, TX; and Pat Hunt and husband Bob of Durand, IL. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jessie (Butler) Beasley, brother Neill Beasley, and a granddaughter Sarah Neitzel. Cremation is under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, MO and a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
