Kyle Mitchell Lotz

Kyle Mitchell Lotz passed away from his earthly home on July 31, 2024, and entered in his eternal home. Kyle was born on July 28, 1986, to Mitchell and Tena Lotz in Farmington, MO. Kyle graduated from North Country High School in Bonne Terre, MO in 2005. Kyle was respectfully elected Student Body President his junior and senior year of High School . Kyle was also very passionate about track where he was an All- State athlete multiple times in events. Kyle was the first NC Raider recorded history to earn All- State honors in three individual events. He was awarded MVP Dream Team Track Player of the Year for all Southeast Missouri. This all led him to a track scholarship at Southwest Baptist University. There Kyle also majored in Physical Education and Health. During his college years is when he met his wife, Shelbie at the local grocery store where they both worked in 2007. He went on to marry Shelbie L. Kirby on July 25, 2009, and shared 15 years of marriage and had two beautiful daughters Zoey and Paisley. Kyle was a huge family man. The love he had for being around those he loved brought him the most joy. Kyle had several hobbies that included anything from smoking food for family gatherings, fishing with his daughters to actively pursuing his dream goal of being a competitive bodybuilder. He accomplished this goal in 2020 doing his first show ever. Kyle also enjoyed football and had a love for all things batman and boxing. Kyle’s wife and daughters were everything to him. He was everything from rodeo dad, to cheer dad and everything in between. Kyle made sure he never missed an event of theirs. They were his pride and joy. Everyone who met Kyle was impacted in a positive way and always had a smile on their face. Kyle was a follower of Jesus and saved on Oct. 18, 1994, at 8 years of age. God used him in such special ways through those years following until he called him home for his eternal rest. He fought the good fight and never wavered. His reward was his eternal crown. He was preceded in death by Grandfather Lonnie Barton, Step-Grandfather Ernie Goforth, and Grandfather Charles Lotz. Kyle is survived by his wife, Shelbie Lotz of Bolivar, MO, Daughters Zoey and Paisley, Parents Mitch and Tena Lotz of Bonne Terre, MO, Brother Austin and wife Morgan Lotz and children, Titus, Fletcher and Shepard, Sister Ashley and Husband Derek Difabio, Grandparents, numerous uncles and aunts.
