JERRY GLENN LEMMON Mr. Jerry Glenn Lemmon, age 50 of Bolivar, MO, passed away at 7:05 PM Thursday, January 24, 2008 in the St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO surrounded by his loving family and many friends after a short illness. Jerry was born at Humansville, MO on February 27, 1957 the son of Joe Liss Lemmon and June Charlotte (Smith) Lemmon. Jerry was saved at the young age of 10 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bolivar and attended Bolivar Schools, graduating in 1975. His daughter Keisha Nicole was born on October 1, 1984. On January 29, 1994, Jerry was united in marriage to Rita Hubbert and to this union Hank Joseph Lemmon was born on July 30, 1995. Keisha and Hank filled his life with love, laughter and joy. He joined the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Easter of 2003. Jerry worked for Moorman's Feed, he drove a bus for Trailways Bus Line, was a meat cutter for Woods Markets and drove a truck for Associated Wholesale Grocers for the last 21 years. Jerry was a dedicated member of the Local Union #245. He enjoyed hunting, dune buggies, racing and teasing everyone he loved or met and most of all just being at home with his family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Lemmon; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Steve and Frances Hubbert and his father Joe Lemmon. He is survived by his loving wife Rita, whom he loved with all his heart; his daughter, Keisha Nicole Clifford and husband Kenny of Ozark, MO; his son Hank of the home; his mother, June Lemmon of Bolivar, MO; his grandchildren, Aaliyah and Alex Clifford of Ozark, MO; his brother Jody Lemmon and wife Vicki of Dexter, MO; three sisters, Pam Grider and husband Roger, Jackie Hitchcock and husband Tony, and Penny Brandt and husband Doug, all of Bolivar, MO; a sister-in-law Mary Wheeler and husband Monte, two brothers-in-law, Joe Hubbert and wife Rae, and Stephen Hubbert and wife Paula, all of Bolivar, MO; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many friends. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Father Pat Wissman officiating. Visitation will follow. The Mass Of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar with the Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Alter server will be Jim Otradovec with Chuck Hubbert as the Lector. Burial will be in the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery south of Bolivar under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Casketbearers will be Jody Lemmon, J. J. Lemmon, Jason Cooper, Monty Wheeler, Danny Ross, Rick Ball, Roger Selvey, Harold Slemp and Keny Reynolds.
