Floradelle Barham

On March 28th 2009 God took one of his angels back to Heaven. Someone who never said a negative thing about anybody had to have been an angel. He let us enjoy her presence here for 82 years. Her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit along with frequent laughter earned her (to some) the name of "Giggles". This angel, Floradelle, was born January 26, 1927 in the home of her parents north of Halfway MO. She was saved by grace and baptized at Halfway Baptist Church in 1939. She later became a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful servant of the Lord . She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Floradelle was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Winiferd Quick and her twin sister Annabelle Brey. She is survived by her husband, who she adored, Max Barham, two sons and their wives, Gary and Judy Barham, Halfway, Tom and Tina Barham, Halfway, one daughter Beverly Mygatt, Bolivar; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Waynetta and David Johnasen, Anchorage AK., Joey Barham, Springfield MO., Julie and Greg Bland, Fayettville AR. ,Jennifer and Tobin Winslow, Springfield MO., Keri and Ryan Goltz, Oklahoma City, OK., Neil Barham, Halfway Melissa and Bobby Blanton, Halfway, John Overmyer, Cameron MO.; four step-grandchildren and their spouses, Alishia & Jody Sharp,Halfway, Andy Doak, Halfway, Amanda and Ryan Roberts, Bolivar , April Doak, Halfway. eight great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two brothers and their wives : Fred Gwain and Peggy Quick, Scottsdale AZ. and Gene and Reva Quick, Morrisville; and two sisters, Vera Gordon and Irene Mayfield, both of Bolivar. Thank you Lord for showing her the path to true salvation so that all of us that follow that same path may join her in Heaven some fine day. It was her desire that all would seek out this path to eternal life. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Doyle Mayfield and Bro. Gary Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Barham, Neil Barham, Jody Sharp, Andy Doak, Ryan Roberts and Bob Blanton. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Murray Funeral Home, Bolivar.
