Cheryl Ann Holley

Cheryl Ann Holley, 54, of Bolivar, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the arms of her husband at her home in Bolivar. She was born as one of four children to George and Dorothy Spawn Bowin in Garnett, Kansas. The family later moved to Sterling, Colorado where Cheryl spent her formative years. Cheryl met and married the love of her life, Randy Holley, on April 9, 1982 and they celebrated 30 years of marriage together. Last year on their anniversary Cheryl and Randy renewed their wedding vows in a meaningful ceremony with their family present. Cheryl and her family moved to Bolivar in 1993. She was a social worker in Greene County for the State of Missouri as long as her health permitted. She attended the Countryside Assembly of God in Bolivar. Cheryl was very family oriented and loved her family deeply. She was a kind, gentle person who did not have an unkind word to say about anyone. She enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and roller coasters with her children and grandchildren. The last few years her favorite past time was sitting in her front yard swing watching the birds and squirrels and of course, keeping up with the Kansas City Chiefs. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Randy of the home; daughters Amy Zimmerman and her husband Tate of Strafford, Missouri and Amber Patty and her husband Ryan of Bolivar; son William Holley and his wife Niki of Springfield; grandsons Preston Paxman, Shel Zimmerman, Grayson Patty, Hayden Patty, Peyton Patty; granddaughter Jaycee Patty; lifelong friends Dennis and Deanna Henderkott and family; brothers Daryl Bowin and his wife Annette of Akron, Colorado and Marty Bowin of Loveland, Colorado; sister Karen Bryant and her husband Eddie of Belton, Missouri; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Cheryl Holley will be held at 12 PM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Countryside Assembly of God in Bolivar officiated by Pastor Dan Smith with burial to follow at Mt.
