Chasity Ann Cook

Chasity Ann Thompson Cook, born to Sandra Crumm and Gary Thompson on June 5, 1973 in Pomona, California, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the home she shared with her mother. Chasity was raised for half of her life in California but in 1988 the family moved to Missouri. She attended Buffalo High School when she met Kevin Cook. She and Kevin were married in 1991. Together they were blessed with two sons, Travis Nathan and Bradley Allen. Even though their marriage ended they continued to be good friends and great support for each other. Chasity has one sibling, Jeremy Martin Marty Souza, who married Susan and gave Chasity the best gift she could ever ask for, her niece, Angel. Angel always managed to put a smile on Chasity s face. Angel and Auntie Chas spent many hours playing dress up and having sleep-over s together. Chasity enjoyed spending time with her two sons, family and friends. She looked forward to the family birthdays spent at El Rodeo. She loved to sew and did an amazing job at any project she created. She was also never seen without her toenails polished and loved to get fixed up. Chasity loved butterflies and always saw the beauty in others around her. Chasity is survived by her two sons Travis Cook, of the home, Bradley Cook, Windyville, her mother, Sandra Stidham, of the home, step-mother, Sharon Fields, of Indiana, brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Susan Souza and niece, Angel Souza, all of Humansville, grandmother, Pearl Crumm, Bolivar, aunt and uncle, Rhonda and Richard Mendiola, Humansville, aunt and uncle, Sharon and John LaFuze, Needmore and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Thompson, grandparents, Dennis Crumm and Jim and Mary Thompson, two cousins, Stacey Hayth and Cody Little, and good friend, Betty Watkins. Chasity s contagious smile and loving heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 with the funeralservice at 12:00 pm at Murray Funeral Home, Humansville.
